Ameena Amdahl-Mason received her B.A. in History, along with her teaching certification, from Bryn Mawr College in 2001. Upon graduation, she returned to her hometown of Portland to begin her teaching career. Prior to teaching at Clackamas Middle College, she taught social studies at Athey Creek Middle School in West Linn and social studies and mathematics at Portland International Community School. During this time, she also earned an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction at Portland State University in 2005. She also earned an M.S. in Communication from Portland State University in 2012. In addition to teaching mathematics, social studies, and speech, she is the assistant speech and debate coach at Clackamas High School. During her free time, she enjoys driving her hybrid and playing with her pet chinchillas, Wimsey and Poirot.
