Important Communication and Dates for The Class of 2023

There are many things that need to happen for a successful graduation ceremony.  Please refer to the following dates to ensure graduation is a success for all of our graduates.

 

Monday, April 10th - Graduation Ceremony Survey are due.  This is required whether you plan to walk or not.

 

Friday, May 5th - Graduation slideshow pictures are due.  Email photos & quote to:

 
If you don’t submit anything, your name will appear on the slideshow when you are announced at graduation and walk across the stage.
 

Friday, May 5th - Senior Quote's are due.  This can be a quote by someone else or you can make up your own quote, Please keep it appropriate.  If it is a quote by someone else, please include the name of the person. This quote will be shown with the 3 photos you submit for the Graduation Slideshow that plays as you walk across the stage at graduation.  Please email it to ([email protected])  along with the 3 photos by May 5th.

 

Monday, May 15 - To participate in the ceremony and walk at graduation, all should have passing grades by May 15th and if summer school is needed, you must be registered. Please be in communication with your Counselor during these weeks leading up to graduation. 

 

Friday, June 2nd - Mandatory rehearsal at Rolling Hills church at 12:00pm. For rehearsal, we will have a bus leaving CMC at 11:45am and returning to CMC at 2:30pm for those that do not drive, or you may meet us there at 12:00pm.

 

Friday, June 2nd - Arrive by 6:20pm - Graduation at 7pm sharp. We will take our graduation group photo at 6:30pm and line up to walk at 6:45pm.  Graduation will start promptly at 7:00pm. The doors will be shut then to avoid any disruptions during graduation, please remind your family to be there by 7:00pm and no blow horns, confetti, or balloons will be allowed in the church, they can be kept in your family's vehicles until after graduation. 

 

No tickets are necessary for admission, each graduate will be able to have unlimited guests attend. 

 

Our graduates will wear navy blue gowns with navy caps and mixed navy blue/green tassels. Graduates are required to wear a cap and gown at graduation. There will be no exceptions. 

 

All caps and gowns will be delivered to the school. You will need to pick your cap and gown up at the school prior to graduation. Crystal will email you when it arrives at CMC. If you are wearing a sibling’s cap & gown from a prior CMC graduation, you will still need to purchase a tassel from Jostens.
