Hello CMC Juniors and Seniors!!

Here are some details about an upcoming visit to the offices of a local banking company called Simple on Friday, Feb. 9. from 9-12pm This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in areas such as business, tech, marketing, software engineering, and finance to spend the morning learning about this fast-growing, exciting company. See Karyn to register if interested in attending!! You must provide your own transportation to and from the event.

Event description:
Learn how a Portland business disrupted the banking industry by appealing to younger, tech-savvy consumers. Go behind-the-scenes at their new inner eastside offices and talk to people in business, software engineering, marketing, finance and recruiting. Learn what skills, experience and education are necessary to pursue a career at a fast-growing company like Simple. Ask the professionals at Simple about their career paths and hear why they love their jobs.

This Simple Career Day will appeal to students in business, marketing and software engineering classes for two reasons:
1) This business has disrupted the entire banking industry by appealing to younger, tech-savvy consumers.
2) It is growing fast and now has big, swanky new offices in the industrial eastside.
