Note: I could only type so many different versions of correct answers. Even if your answer gets marked as wrong, go through and read the correct answers carefully because you might have explained the same general idea in your answer but wrote it differently than I did.

Write a Claim as to whether or not baby Matthew has your assigned disease and support it with Evidence and Reasoning in paragraph form.

Remember, the goal is to identify the enzyme associated with your assigned genetic disorder and then to do some research about that enzyme and disorder to figure out what is going wrong in the body. The ultimate goal will be to be able to explain (during our next class), whether or not you think baby matthew has your assigned disorder.

Make sure all of TS5 a (Structure of DNA, Proteins, Transcription and Translation) of your INB are complete, attach your notebook, and submit. Each section will be worth 10 points for a total of 30

Make sure TS2 and TS3 sections of your INB are complete, attach your notebook, and submit

Identify patterns on the biomolecule cube to figure out what’s on the bottom.
-Use slides 4-10 to see the cube sides in detail
-Identify each pattern and explain why you chose that
-Make an educated guess about what’s on the bottom!
-Hint: The bottom left is a bonus. The answer is easy, but the ‘why’ is tricky.
-Submit when you’re done. I’ll grade slide 3
