Clackamas Middle College (CMC) Virtual Open House- Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 5:30-6:30pm

Clackamas Middle College Open House
Clackamas Middle College is an accredited charter high school and college transitional program open to any high school student interested in college opportunities. CMC exists to serve students as they grow as learners and individuals. Our philosophy incorporates rigorous and varied educational experiences with personalized teaching, counseling, and academic planning. As college readiness skills are developed, CMC offers tuition/books and access to college opportunities for which students are awarded dual high school and college credit.
The evening will include an introduction to our staff, an overview on how we prepare our students for college during high school, and a question and answer period to better understand our wonderful college transition programs for high school students.
CMC is a public charter high school sponsored by North Clackamas School District, and is located 10 miles outside of Portland, Oregon.  CMC enrolls 300 students from all over the Portland Metro Area.  Our students come from varied socio-economic and academic backgrounds with many different languages spoken.  CMC provides an inclusive, innovative, and challenging personalized education that cultivates and prepares independent learners for college and careers.  Our students are enrolled within three of our programs created to bridge the gap from high school to college, and prepare our students for the world of college and/or careers.  In its short existence (18 yrs-est.2003), our graduates earned an average of 67 college credits along with their high school diploma.
To build a successful college-ready culture, 94% of students reported that CMC fosters a climate of respect and fairness; and 90% of students feel CMC prepared them for college and careers (national percentile rankings-YouthTruth).  CMC also leads our district with a graduation rate of 96%.  Last year, we saved our families almost $500,000 in community college savings, and near $1.5 million in state university tuition.  We are a solid choice for many families in the Portland Metro Area.
