Dear NCSD Families, Students, and Staff:
Although it appears the active fires closest to the boundaries of North Clackamas School District (NCSD) are not moving closer, there are still significant issues with air quality, along with many families and staff, who are displaced. Additionally, these issues have impacted NCSD’s efforts to distribute Chromebooks and hotspots for the past few days. For these reasons, NCSD canceled all activities for Monday, Sept. 14, and will make a decision about Tuesday’s (Sept. 15) operations late Monday afternoon.
NCSD school administrators have created school schedules detailing how the rest of the week will function from an instructional perspective; this information will be shared with families by schools in a separate communication on Monday.
Finally, NCSD has created a page on its website with some resources that may be helpful for those impacted by fires.
