Information Session for CTE Summer Camps - See Info Below & How to Register for CTE Camps (Free & Earn College Credit)

Hello CMC 9th - 11th grade students,

We are excited to announce an opportunity for students to earn FREE college credit at Clackamas Community College for Summer, 2025!

Career & Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camp will be held August 11-15, 2025 on the CCC Oregon City Campus.  Camp is open to students who live or go to school in Clackamas County, and are entering grades 9-12 in fall 2025.  There is no cost for CTE Summer Camp, and students will earn college credit for the courses they complete! Camp will be held on the Oregon City Campus.

We are also happy to have the opportunity to work with families in-person at our Information Session on May 14, 2025 from 6-7:30pm at the Gregory Forum on the Oregon City Campus. High School Connections staff will be on hand to answer questions and assist students in registration on their own device or on a department laptop.  Refreshments will be served. CTE Summer Camp Offerings for 2025:

• Green Building Construction: GBC-101 (two credits)
• Horticulture: Gardening & Farming: HOR-290 (one credit)
• Introduction to CNC Machining: MTT-121A (two credits)
• Makerspace: MFG-102 (one credit)
• Medical Assisting: MA-100 (two credits)
• Music & Film: MUS-106 (one credit) and MUS-147 (one credit) 
• Renewable Energy Systems (RET-200) (two credits)

All Summer Camps will be held on the Oregon City Campus of Clackamas Community College.

How to sign up for CTE Summer Camps:

Complete the form below to sign-up for CCC's free CTE Summer Camps by June 8.  Students and families will be notified of placement into CTE Summer Camp by June 20. In order to complete the sign-up form, students must have a CCC ID#. CMC STUDENTS MOST LIKELY HAVE AN ID NUMBER ALREADY. ASK YOUR COUNSELOR IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR ID NUMBER IS.

If you do not have an ID number, students can apply to CCC here. It can take one-to-two days after applying to receive a CCC ID#. If you are unsure if a student has a CCC account, contact hsconnections@clackamas.edu.

2025 CTE Summer Camp sign-ups are open from March 17-June 8 2025.
