Complete the FAFSA or the ORSAA:
STARTING OCTOBER 1: Fill out and submit the 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid: https://studentaid.gov/h/
apply-for-aid/fafs to be eligible for federal grants, loans and work-study funds. ALL students should be completing the FAFSA, regardless of whether you believe you are eligible for financial aid.Make sure you have all the information you will need such as your family's tax information.
Be sure to enter the names of any college you might apply to (you can add schools at any time to your application).
Undocumented and DACAmented students in Oregon should fill out and submit the Oregon Student Aid Application: https://oregonstudentaid.gov/
orsaa-filter.aspx to be eligible for state grants.Make sure you have all the information you will need such as your family's tax information and bank statements.
Ask the colleges you are applying to if you should also complete a paper version of the FAFSA to be eligible for institutional aid. Follow their instructions for submitting this or any other documents they request.
