CEO 1: College Transition Support - Fall 2021 (K. Renehan)-Thursdays (online) 8:50-9:30am Assignments

Please review the "CEO Checklist and Tips for the First week of Classes" document attached to make sure you are ready for Winter term classes to start on January 3rd. Reach out if you have any questions at all!

There are 16 different Career Clusters listed on this page. Under each cluster there are many different career titles. Watch 3 different career videos (they are 1-2 mins long) and use the attached Google form to answer 3 questions for each video.

Review the week 10 class slides and video recording and complete the Week 10 Assignment called "The Benefits of Giving Back" Google Form by Monday Dec 6th for 10 points.

Please review the CEO Registration Support Slides and the class recording. There is no class next week on 11/25 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. 


Your assignment is to register for any general population classes and send me an email confirming that by Nov 29th. If you registered with me in person or virtually already and are just waiting on confirmation of CMC classes, you can mark this done already!

School is closed on Thursday, November 11th for Veteran's Day. You will have an asynchronous assignment due on Monday, Nov 15th to make sure you are ready for registration week.

Review the week 6 information (slides and video posted again below) and complete the Week 7 Assignment Google Form by Monday Nov 15th for 10 points.


You will need to practice using the CCC catalog, AAOT degree planning worksheet (if applicable) and the Self-Service tools as well as your CMC Ed Plan in order to register for Winter Term classes. Make sure you ask questions if needed!! 


We will be confirming your Winter schedule in class on the 18th and I'll have drop in registration help sessions throughout the week.

Please review the class slides and recording if needed. Your assignment this week is to attend your advising meeting (which most of you have already done!). 

Once you have attended your meeting, reviewed your advising follow up email and CMC Ed Plan with your approved courses/requests for Winter term, you can mark this assignment as done.

Please review the class recording and slides and complete the "New Student Orientation" under "Start Here" on the left-hand side in your MyClackamas portal. After you complete the orientation, submit the Week 4 Assignment (CTS-CEO Week 4 Google Form) with follow up questions by Monday, 11/1 at 11:59pm. 


Please make sure to pick up your CCC catalog and 21-22 Opportunities Booklets within the next week. They are labeled with your names by the student store.

Hello CEO Students!

All CEO Students are REQUIRED to submit their current grades and participation feedback (if available) in ALL classes (both CMC and CCC classes) to me by email at [email protected] due next Friday, October 29th. Over this next week, check in with your teachers and find out what your grade is in each class.

An email to your instructors is sufficient, and please forward me their response. A screenshot of Moodle gradebook will also be sufficient if accurate and easy to read. Please send me your grade for each class no later than Friday, October 29th (by 11:59pm!) Thank you!!

***PLEASE NOTE - If you're taking ESR-171 or PSY-205 with CMC this term please check under the "Grades" tab on Moodle and send me a screenshot instead of emailing your instructors***

Please see my email sent earlier today with the subject "College & Career Day Information for TOMORROW, October 13th!! about the events happening tomorrow. Please see the attached schedule, choose at least ONE session and attend tomorrow if not taking the PSAT. Submit a completed CRLE reflection form by next Monday, Oct 18th for 10 points of EXTRA CREDIT for this class. 


***Any student who took the PSAT will automatically get 10 pts of extra credit for this class. If you took the PSAT, please mark this assignment as "Turned In" and send me a comment that you took the PSAT***

Today's class will be completed asynchronously. Make sure to review the attached College Readiness Rubric to answer questions #5-9 on the assignment.
