About Me

Welcome! My name is Hillary Pinkston and I am the Assistant Principal at CMC. This is my first year at CMC, I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful community!

I received a B.A. in History, Education, and French from Oregon State University in 2013. After graduating I moved to Arizona to start my teaching career. In 2018 I received a Masters of Educational Leadership K-12 from Northern Arizona University. At that time my husband and I moved back to Portland to be closer to family. Since being hired at North Clackamas School District I have served as the Dean of Students at New Urban High School as well as Rex Putnam High School. More recently I was the Assistant Principal at Rex Putnam High School for the last 2 years. I am excited to be at CMC and help students become lifelong learners as they explore their post high school opportunities.

My role at CMC is to provide support for students and staff. If you need anything throughout your time at CMC please do not hesitate to reach out to me! I am here to help!

When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, and playing with our two dogs. My husband and I have two young boys who keep us very active. Some of my favorite things to do are seeing live music, camping, white water rafting, and snowboarding on Mt. Hood.
