Interested in construction management? Explore the business of construction, from construction management to the trades, with one of the region's top firms! Learn about pathways into the industry while going behind the scenes at one of the nation's largest and most complex school construction projects: the rebuild of the historic Benson Polytechnic High School. Get coaching from professionals in the field and hear how they got started, and get the inside scoop on getting into the field via college or an apprenticeship. Lunch is included.
How to attend:
Step 1: Fill out the winter/spring student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)
Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the winter/spring parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.
Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you're accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.
Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!
Who can attend:
High school students in the Portland metro area are welcome to apply. We prioritize students from our partner school districts whenever space is limited (Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Parkrose Portland Public Schools, Reynolds, Oregon Charter Academy).
