Graduates and Parents of Graduates:
We would like to inform you about some details regarding graduation.
Graduation is at Rolling Hills Community Church, 3550 SW Borland Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062 on Thursday, June 1st at 7:00 PM.
A mandatory rehearsal has been set for June 1st at 12:30 PM at Rolling Hills Community Church. If you are unable to get there on your own, we have a bus that will depart CMC at 11:45am and return you to CMC at 2:30pm.
Caps and gowns should have been ordered by April 14th. Caps and gowns are navy blue. Please inform us immediately, if you need help in securing one. Students must wear a cap and gown to participate in the graduation ceremony. All caps and gowns will be delivered directly to CMC. Students will need to see Crystal to pick up their cap and gown when they arrive at CMC.
We need 3 pictures and a quote for our power point graduation presentation by Friday, May 12. Please submit your photos and quotes to [email protected]. We cannot accept them any later. They are needed from all students who plan on walking – so they may be included in the graduation presentation. Please see the enclosed flyer for details. If you do not submit pictures and a quote, only your name will be included in the slideshow.
No tickets are necessary for admission. Each graduating senior will be able to have unlimited guests attend graduation.
The ceremony will last approximately an hour and a half and will start promptly at 7:00pm. We will be closing the doors at 7:00pm, so please have your family arrive on time. Please be at the church by 6:15pm, we will take the group photo at 6:30pm and line up at 6:45pm. NO blow horns, confetti or balloons are allowed in the church, they are to be kept in the vehicle until after graduation.
We will have a CMC Awards Recognition Party for all students on Friday, May 26 from 9:00am-10:45am at CMC in the Commons, followed by bowling at AMF. Graduates, you need to attend 9:00am-10:45am to pick up your cords, medals, T-shirts and awards. This event is to recognize and celebrate all the hard work our students have put into the school year.
All work samples, senior project assignments/internship paperwork and PE/YTA logs are due by May 19th to participate in the graduation ceremony.
