Hello CMC Students,
Check out these amazing opportunities to earn college credit and explore careers over the summer! CCC is offering free Career Technical (CTE) exploration classes and a dental professions summer camp at CCC over the summer!!
These classes are first-come, first-served and have a weighted lottery to attend so sign up now!! Priority placement is given to underrepresented students (students of color, students with disabilities, students with low socio-economic status and students with limited access to accelerated learning programs). You will need your CCC ID# to apply - contact your CMC counselor if you need your ID number or have questions about applying.

Career Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camps for Students (open for current 9-11th grade students)
August 14th - 18th, 2023, 9:00am-3:00pm at the CCC Oregon City main campus
Free CTE Summer Camps offer students the opportunity to experience college and earn college credit during week-long hands-on classes focused on career and technical areas such as horticulture, health sciences or industrial technology. The CTE Summer Camps are open to students who live and go to school in Clackamas County and are entering 9th through 12th grade in Fall 2023. The summer camps include: CNC Machining, Horticulture: Gardening and farming, Medical Assisting, Intro to Green Building, Invention, Music & Film. Students must register in advance and space is limited! Please see the attached flyer for information. CCC Dental Professions Camp and Scholarship Program (open for current 9th - 12th grade students)
Explore careers in the dental profession with this free summer camp! The Dental Professions Camps are open to students who live and go to school in Clackamas County and who are completing 9th - 12th grades in Spring 2023. Students can choose from two camp dates: June 20th-23rd from 9:00am-4:30pm or June 26th-30th from 9:00am-3:00pm. This camp does not offer college credit. Online Sign-up is available here. (deadline is June 2nd to sign up)
