Hello CMC 11th & 12th grade students!


Check out this unique opportunity to explore hundreds of careers this Spring at the Northwest Youth Careers Expo on March 16th-17th!! Students need to RSVP below to attend this virtual event. The 17th annual NW Youth Careers Expo will take place March 16-17, 2021 from 1-4 pm on both days as a virtual event. Students can attend the event at any time during the two day event between the hours of 1:00-4:00pm.  Students and educators will have full access to the Virtual Expo for up to one month after the event.

��  The 2021 Expo will feature a virtual Exhibit Hall where students and educators can “visit” booths to learn about different organizations. Exhibitors can share materials and videos about their workplace, and they can host chats to answer questions. Check out the list of organizations attending this event.

��   In the virtual Auditorium students can hear Career Talks and engage with professionals. Students can hear talks on subjects including How to Land a Job, How to Ace Your Interview and Networking Essentials. Here is an overview of what you can expect at the event - including a virtual scavenger hunt that will earn you a chance to win $100!

��   The nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance organizes the event. The Expo's goals are to connect employers to their future workforce and help students make informed, inspired decisions about their education after high school -- whether they choose a four-year university, community college or apprenticeship training center.
