Hello CMC 11th & 12th grade Students,

Check out these amazing opportunities to earn college credit over the summer - for those of you wanting to take a transferable college class or want to explore a career, please consider taking these free classes at CCC over the summer!! Flyers for both programs are attached.

CCC Summer Scholars Program
Students can save time and money by taking up to 12 college credits tuition free during the college’s eight-week summer term! This is available for Clackamas County students who have completed 11th or 12th grade in Spring 2019. Students must register in advance. Students are responsible for all course fees and textbook costs, but tuition is paid for by CCC. Please see the attached flyer or program website for more info and to sign up. Courses include: MTH-105, MTH-111, MTH-112, MTH-243, MTH-251, MTH-252, WS-101, ANT-103, GEO-100, PSY-200, PSY-215, SOC-204, SOC-206, HST-101 (fees and book costs are not included)

Career Technical Education (CTE) Summer Camps for Students (11th grade only - doesn't apply to graduating seniors)
Free CTE Summer Camps offer students the opportunity to experience college and earn college credit during week-long hands-on classes focused on career and technical areas such as horticulture, health sciences or industrial technology. The CTE Summer Camps are open to students who live and go to school in Clackamas County and are entering ninth through 12th grade in fall 2019. The summer camps include: Health Sciences, Welding, Horticulture, Website Design, Music & Film and Invention. Students must register in advance and space is limited! Please see the attached flyer for information. Registration is available here. (deadline is May 1st)
