in groups we analyzed a focus scene to present as review to the class tomorrow. Follow the guidelines on the promptbook handout to determine:
  • Key lines (try to group key lines into chunks of three lines)
  • Identify the speaker & to whom they are speaking to. 
  • Interpret the meaning (paraphrase specifically) 
  • describe the context of what's happening 
Groups will present their key lines and analysis tomorrow as review for the exam. 
 
This is going deeper than groups went on the first read. You need to look at the specific words Shakespeare is using. Remember the form: iambic pentameter. How does this form contribute to meaning and stress of certain words?
