Think back to what you know about what happens inside rat pups’ DNA when rat mothers nurture or neglect their young. Use this knowledge and what you learned from the video and article to write a CER answering the question: How are the effects of intergenerational trauma similar and/or different to the nurturing of rat mothers?

Choose 1 of the articles to read; then complete the jamboard by filling in the title and 4 sections

Directions: Review your notes from Sections 1 & 2 and write a Claim-Evidence-Reasoning paragraph that answers the following question: What factors are associated with cancer and how do they affect the cell cycle?

Use the summary template in your INB to construct your response below the table.
You may use as many support / explanation statements as you feel necessary to bolster your claim.
You may need to have more than one paragraph of claim and support to address the multiple factors that are associated with cancer

On Friday I will open up the more of the lab for you and ultimately create a separate lab report assignment so that I can give you a summative (test) grade for the whole lab report- you wont have to submit anything extra.

Create your own positive or negative feedback loop analogy concept map- think of nonbiological examples (ie: how to keep your parents happy, cars, sports, investing, etc.)

Use google docs, google drawing, a piece of paper, or a concept map creator

Include the stimulus (what begins the process), what senses the message (sensory pathway), what coordinates a response (control center), what carries out the function (effector pathway), and what's the response

Upload your concept map to google classroom- Due Wednesday (1/20) by 9am

Create a concept map model of the feedback loops described in the article.

-The concept map contains a partially completed model of the “stressor” and “relaxation” feedback loops that control heart rate during and after exercise.
2. Using your annotations from the article, drag and drop the missing terms on the right to their correct place on the map. There are parts of the sensory and effector paths that need to be placed, as well as the action words that describe how they sense and what effect they have.
3. Click "Save and Close" in the upper right hand corner of the google drawing and then copy and paste the completed picture into your INB
