Humor is such a strong weapon, such a strong answer. -Agnes Varda

I really dunno.
Rather confusing quote.
Weapons and answers aren't often brought together like this, except in war. Where the only answer appears to be violence at many times. Still this level of equality between these terms, weapon and answer, is suprising in this quote.
But this quote isn't seeming to relate humor to violence.
just another random train of thought from your favorite

Humour can definitely do many things. Humour is ulitimately subtle, and so could deliver an effective message. On the underground side, it could be used to pass a message. As a strong answer, humour can be deeply offensive, and so wit is definitely a strong alternative to profanity or rational conversation.
Also, to add to that, I mentioned political jokes. A politician, as we frequently see with Obama and McCain, can easily incite the audience with a well-thought-out joke. That's all.
Humor is such a strong way to express ones self. Its hard to always see the truth behind the humor because of the many ways we now use it. Are we hiding, are you really just in a good mood, and we being sarcastic. What we say and how we act create who we are. What we are. Without it, who knows what would happen. I know that i use humor in a great amount. Its how i move on day to day. If im having a bad day i sometimes bring humor into it just to move on and get the day over with. you always have to read deep into the real reason why one person has said or done that action to know the truth behind it.
If that makes much sense..... Tired :-(
