Something else to think about...
On Wednesday (9/24) we will be looking at the Johari Window and do an exercise using the window as we look at our own lives.
Time permitting, we will look at the concept of attention - both the positive and the negative - discussing that the opposite of positive attention is not negative attention - but rather that it is getting NO attention at all.

I think that this means that even though it is a complete stranger you are opening up to you are still showing a type of love. It may not be a love specifically for that person, but maybe unburdening your heart is showing a type of love and that is what 'reaffirms the love that unites humanity'.
To me, this means that everytime you talk to someone, stranger or not, you are showing them the kind of love that connects us all. Even if your not "telling them all of your intimate secrets"(stone), you still can be showing some kind of love.
