Eric Stone received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & International Relations with a Japanese emphasis from Willamette University in Salem, OR. After six months in Japan, he returned to the Portland area and spent a year and half at the Christie School in Marylhurst, OR. He went on to earn a Master's of Science in Special Education degree from Portland State University, specializing in working with emotional and behavioral disturbances. Four
years as a Learning Specialist in a self-contained classroom at Whitford Middle School in Beaverton lead to another Master's degree in Counseling - again from Portland State University. After six years as a high school counselor at Tigard High School, an opportunity opened up for a guidance counselor at Clackamas Middle College. This year marks six years at CMC - and in his spare time he trains for and runs marathons, while occasionally making time to play a round of golf or two to maintain his sanity...this summer finding the perfect marriage of the two - taking up the hobby of speed golf - with a PR of just under 27 minutes and a score of 42 for 9-holes!
