Public Speaking - Extracurricular Opportunity
If you would like the chance to show your proficiency in a different way, I'm extending an extracurricular opportunity to you! This is completely optional, but it should be a lot of fun! It can also help show me that you can apply what we've learned this term.
On Saturday, December 6, 2008, a speech tournament will be held at Clackamas High School (where I am the assistant coach). You will have the opportunity to watch competitive speech and debate, and then write up a summary to show me what you have learned. This summary should include:

- if it is a speaking event, list the different topics of the speeches, if it is a debate, write the topic that was being debated
- describe the positives and the negatives that you observed
- tell me what you learned from watching
