The State of Oregon awarded Clackamas Middle College a Dissemination Grant in April of 2007. The grant is for two years and will expire in April of 2009. CMC will create a website which will contain best practice resource guides that CMC has developed during the life of the grant. CMC will also offer symposiums throughout the year in which leadership teams from schools throughout the state will participate. At these symposiums, CMC staff will provide the attending leadership teams the opportunity to learn about Clackamas Middle College's best practices. These best practices will promote student achievement, early college program, small learning communities, project-based learning, rigorous and relevant curriculum, inclusive programs and instructional practices and expanded learning opportunities through its service learning program and senior internship.
